Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy covers the Little Happenings Uploader (“the app”) and this website. The app is a private tool that the owner of the Little Happenings YouTube channel uses to publish the channel's own videos. It is not offered to the public.
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What the app accesses
When the channel owner signs in with Google, the app asks for these permissions:
- Upload YouTube videos (
youtube.upload): to upload the channel's own videos and Shorts, with their title, description, tags, thumbnail and privacy setting. - View your YouTube account (
youtube.readonly): to read back the status of videos it uploaded (for example whether a video is private, processed or scheduled) and basic channel details.
The app does not read comments, subscribers, viewer information, email, contacts or any other Google data.
How the data is used
- Only to upload and manage videos on the Little Happenings channel, at the channel owner's request or on a schedule the owner sets.
- Not for advertising, profiling, or training AI models.
- Not sold, rented or shared with anyone.
Where it is stored
- The Google sign-in token is stored only on the channel owner's own computer, in a local configuration file. It is never sent anywhere except to Google to call the YouTube API.
- Video IDs and upload status are kept in local log and queue files on the same computer, so the app knows what it has already uploaded.
- The app has no server and no database of its own.
How long it is kept, and how to delete it
- The sign-in token is kept until it is revoked. Locally stored YouTube API data (video IDs and statuses) is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as the YouTube API Services policies require, and is deleted straight away if access is revoked.
- You can revoke the app's access at any time on the Google security settings page (Third-party apps & services → Little Happenings → Delete all connections). The app stops working immediately.
- To ask for any locally stored data to be deleted, email the address below.
This website
This website has no sign-in, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The hosting provider (Netlify) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security, under its own privacy policy.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
